The seashore, shells, gulls and fishes it all reminds me of the vacations I used to take with my family when I was a kid.
They were fun times playing on the beach, making sand castles, hunting for really special shells. But that was many years ago and now I'm waiting to do it again with my grandchildren.
To keep those memories alive we sometimes need visual reminders of the good times. It helps us to remember when things were simple and the stress of everyday life had not yet affected us.
You can achieve this quite easily by decorating one of your rooms with mementos of times past. I can't tell you which stencils to use, it will be different for everybody.
Me personally, I used the Sunbirds border in my bathroom.
We used to go to a place which had ornamental banana trees and the sunbirds just loved them. As a kid I used to sit and watch them for hours.
