Wall Stencils Question And Answer
what can I use to take off a rub on stencil from the wall.?
Do I just paint over it?
I'm not sure what type it is...came with the house is there a way to tell?

If it is a sticker type rub on stencil then you can heat it with a blow dryer and then scrape it off the wall.
DON'T paint over it! You will have the outline. Use a piece of sandpaper.
