All About Stenciling

I am looking for some directions to stencil a picket fence on my daughter bedroom wall, without having to buy any of the stencils. I have seen it on the DIY channel but for the life of me I can't find the directions. I really thank you for your help Have a beautiful day!!!!

I would actually buy a couple of pickets...one shorter than the other and trace them on the wall....PAINT ON!

I would use a ruler and a level and mark out the design with painters tape. You could either do a flat 2 dimensional fence design or after the first part is dry (white pickets) add shadows (free hand or using the tape and ruler again). The important thing to remember with shadows is to decide where the light is coming from and then keep your shadows on the opposite side (lighting source on the left = shadows to the right on objects).
