my little sister just uses hand paint or markers. boy does my mom get mad!!!!
Projection is easy. Freehand if you have the skill.
use a pencil first
if you can find a microfische machine,,that would work,,,,I think they even have similar things for kids,,( wall projectors),,,,,but scetching it by hand with a pencil,,,get it how you want it,,,even throw in the extras as you go,,,and you'll get much more satisfaction,,,,What do you have to lose , if you're going to paint anyway,,,,,drawing large is easier than you'd think,,,,you can easily stand back and see the changes that need to be made,,,,,C'mon,,,,GO FREEHAND !!!!,,,,you'll love it
Try it free-hand using the colour you're going to be filling it in with.Any odd shaped petals and you can just paint over
If you are not agood artist, get someone who is. Is there an art college nearby? A student may do it as a project that can go in their portfolio - I have had students paint murals for me before - usually successfully.
Seems as though projection would be simple enough. At one point, I enlarged a pattern at my local Kinko's and transferred that onto the wall with graphite. I had to enlarge it a page at a time, then tape it all together.
