All About Stenciling

I want to use decorative stencils on my walls and don't own an air sprayer. Will I get a clean stencil design using regular spray paint cans?

You will probably get a clean stencil as long as you hold the can far enough that you can do "misting" coats. However, your stencil will build up with paint and bleeding will start at the edges as they become less sharp. I don't think you'll be able to clean the stencil off as easily or if at all with the spray paint. See if you can rent a sprayer.

The tighter and flatter the stecil is held against the wall the less bleedng you will have.

Hi: Yes, you can. But you must clean them very good after so many spray paintings or when your done with them or they stary have a build up of paint on the edge of the stencils.
