Tattoo Stencils Question And Answer
Will the purple ink from the stencil remain when a white ink tattoo is healed??
I just got an all white tattoo on my inner wrist and the tattoo artist used a dark violet stencil and then went over it in white ink. he told me that my body would "digest" the violet ink... and not to worry about it, but its almost fully healed and parts of my tattoo look dirty/ muddy purple colour. did anyone else have this same problem... if it actually stays like this???
advice from tat artists or ppl who have all white tattoos appreciated!!!!!!!!!!

no it should'nt because that is only the outline the artist needs to follow the tat.
I have a pale pink tattoo, and all of the outline washed away within a couple of days.
It won't stay like that. That ink doesn't go under your skin like the white ink does. It may have pushed down into a later of your skin, but it's not been tattooed, so it'll wash out. Give it time.
The stencil ink wont stay, that is only on the surface and will work itself out with the scabs. Most of it wipes away during the tattoo and you are left with just a little bit. Don't worry, it's not there for good. If you have questions ask your tattoo artist, they are your best source.
My outline took longer to fad away then my tat did to heal. It is now gone. So don't worry it should go away.
