Tattoo Stencils Question And Answer
Tattoo artist use WHAT? to keep stencils from smudge?
DEODERANT is to apply the stencil...I know that much but I need to know what they use to not smudge the stencil after they get it on while the tat process is going on!!!

i have a lot of ink on my body and every tattoo artist i've ever known has used stick deodorant.
I have one, my husband has a few and they've all used stick deoderant for all of our tats!
I think the trick is not to touch it... I have a few myself, and have watched quite a number of tats being done, and have never seen one smudge before it was done.
One artist I watched used a fine mist of rubbing alcohol instead of deodorant, claiming that using the same deodorant for different people was not hygienic.
Both artists got the same results... is it time to switch to Speed Stick?
