Stenciling Question And Answer
how to fix a stenciling mistake?
I am stenciling a grape vine border and left it to dry. I used the creamy blendable paints that have the film over it which you pull off before drybrushing it onto the wall and stencil. It ended up getting smeared and I tried to fix the color but it looks worse now than it did before I tried my fix. What can I do? Do I just paint over that section entirely with wall color or is there some way to just remove the stencil?

Laminate flooring. It's durable doesn't scratch, easy to clean and reasonably priced. We put it in our house and the wife loves it.
Sounds like it will be quickest and easiest to just spot prime it (with BIN shellac based primer) and repaint. The whole process should only take a hour or so. Once the paint has dried completely, re-stencil.
Take the time the paint is drying to practice your stenciling techniques. Remember there should be almost NO paint on the stenciling brush
