Wall & Mural Stencils

Stencil Art Question And Answer

Should I join the National Art Honor Society?

I was given a sign-up sheet by my art teacher, so he seems to think I'm qualified, but everything we've done in class so far has been simple, usually involving tracing and stencils. I enjoy art and like to make things, but I don't feel as if the quality of my work is, as the Society's site boasts of its students, outstanding. I feel most of the other members would be leagues ahead of me.

Decide on what to do!
yes!!!!!!!!!!! join!!! i'm in it.
wow, go for it! (congrats btw) you'd never realise how good you are until you face it full on.
you don't have to be that great for the National Art Honor Society, no one aside from your teacher is going to judge your work. It's a good activity to get involved in anyways and is something you can add to college applications as well. In high school when I was in it we organized an art chair auction and painting the chairs ourselves and organized an exhibit in our school along with demonstrations and kid art activites, and began ideas for painting a wall before I graduated. It isn't about just being good in art, for me it was about putting it to practical use and using art to help the community. Talk to your teacher about what kind of things they do and do it if you seem interested in what it's about, don't think so much about how good or bad you may be, because it doesn't really matter.
