Stencil Art Question And Answer
Banksy - Art for idiots?
I just read an article By Charlie Brooker attacking the swathes of people who descibe Banksy as a genius for spraying crude stencils on walls - http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/story/0,,1878555,00.html
What do you think?

I always liked Bansky, he is daring and fun; unique and with a sense of humour.
banksy's work is perfect for the culture we live in today. his stencils are bold and moving, they get the point across without requiring too much explanation or thought. it's a fast paced world we live in today, and with as many visuals as there are out there to stare at (like golden arches and billboards), it doesn't hurt to have some pieces of art stenciled up quickly and repeatedly that have good meanings behind them, and are aesthetically pleasing.
