| Open Question: Are Jacquard Textile paints a good choice for this project? |
I'm the only one working in a very small service business I've started, and I'd like to create my own T-shirts.
I've created stencils using Adobe photoshop, and then designing the stencils out of transparency paper.
I want to use a paint roller and just roll right over my stencil onto the T-shirt. I know this is a tried and true method because I've seen it done many times, and am amazed at the final product! :)
I think this is a good way to save myself the money of having someone do this online for me commercially.
The website I learned the method off of said to use Permaset Fabric Ink, but AC Moore, Michael's, etc. don't sell Permaset fabric Ink. All I've found was Jacquard Textile Color Ink.
Would Jacquard work better? and I only have two 2.25 oz (75ml) of each of bottles of base colors (Blue, Red, Yellow), as well as black and white.
Is two bottles (4.5 oz) enough to applicate a couple T-shirts? I don't want to start rolling the paint to only find out I don't have enough! I think it's more than enough for 2-4 shirts though.
Thank you. :]
